Evaluation

Our production was called Reality Shock, it is a show about putting two different classes in one house ( upper and working class students) the show was to allow others to see how different classes cope in each others jobs ie working as bin men or working in very successful company's. The show was trying to be similar to 'The Only Way Is Essex' and 'Made In Chelsea' with a bit of 'Big Brother to it as the groups of people would live in one big house and have to budget on things ie on luxuries and food.
Our product was fairly successful, our intentions changed a lot through out the making of Reality Shock as our ideas were far to extreme and expensive to put into our production.
we did fufill our intentions but with a few minor changes along the way.
We were given the choice between structured reality, soaps, romcoms or a fly on the wall documentary. Our production had to be a pre-watershed production, after choosing which groups we wanted to be in, we chose to creating a reality show. This is because we all mostly watch reality TV.

The genre for our production is structured reality like 'Made In Chelsea' and 'TOWIE' (The Only Way Is Essex) with a bit of big brother in it, our product portrayed different classes workings and upper class 4 from each class and putting them in one big house and each week they swap jobs with each other I.e the working class will work in a very high end company and the upper class will work in low end jobs like bin men etc.
The way we targeted the audience is by looking at other reality shows and found out the target audience for those shows thus making a conclusion of the target audience of 16 - 35 and working class women tend to watch these kinds of reality shows.
The issues raised during the production was that cast members did not show up so. Had to improvise most of the time, our group didn't exactly get along either so it was quite difficult to get in contact with each other to get things done on time. We did eventually get over our differences with in the group and get the filming and everything done on time.
Our website and other interactive media on the Internet went well and gave us a lot of help with feedback from audiences as we created facebook posts like a questionnaire for people to answer to help us outline what will work best  in our show and what people would like to see on TV.
If we did this again i would have made sure we were more organised and planed the cast better, also location would have been found and would actually fit the style of show we were trying to shoot as it didn't really fit in to the style we had in mind.
The issues that the show raises are how people are stuck on stereotyping classes as we think some upper class people are all stuck up and don't care about others but themselves and their money and working class people are tacky and chavs which is not the situation as these stereotypes are made, the show tries to explain to people and show people how others cope out of their comfort zone sharing a space with people they don't know and having to budget and rashen with food and work in places they never thought they would have to work.
The third media platform would be in magazines or posters , flyer's and billboards to allow everyone to know the show and, when its on and what channels, and what time the show will be on at, also possible details about if its on catch up TV or not for those who may miss the show at the time its on at.
